Motherhood can be beautiful, but let’s be honest, it’s also incredibly hard. Motherhood has a way of shining a light on our deepest fears and insecurities. We can be surrounded by love and laughter, trying our best every single day, but often in the quiet moments, there comes this voice in the back of our minds whispering, “You’re failing.”
When we think about grief, we often picture adults. But grief is not reserved for just us grown-ups. Children grieve too. The tricky thing about grief in children is not only may it be delayed, it also may not look like adult grief.
